Nursing home resident may suffer physically and emotionally abuse, bedsores, broken bones and premature death resulting from staff neglecting. While most facilities provide excellent care, often understaffed , poorly trained and unpaid employees endanger the lives of their patients.

This presentation reviews the legal, medical and administrative responsibility in the monitoring of residents to avoid abuse and legal litigations against facilities
